About the Study
The Emory Healthy Aging Study is the largest clinical public health medical research study in Atlanta. Our research study is completely online and aims to change the way the world sees aging and promote a healthy lifestyle for seniors. With a focus on advancing brain health and preventing age-related diseases, the Emory Healthy Aging Study securely gathers health information from adult participants to inform goals and initiatives like prevent and detect Alzheimer’s disease, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, hypertension, age-related neurological disorders, and more.
To become a part of the Emory Healthy Aging Study, you must be at least 18 years old, live in the United States or its territories, and able to read and understand English. Participants sign up online, indicate that they understand the terms of the study, and fill out a quick health history questionnaire. Every few months, you may be invited to complete other surveys or cognitive health assessments. We might also invite you to participate in other voluntary research opportunities.
When you partner with Emory, you can help make discoveries that will change our understanding of aging and age-related diseases forever. Make a difference, join today!
