Get Started NowEvery 66 seconds, someone in the U.S. develops Alzheimer's disease. The Emory Healthy Brain Study aims to identify the biomarkers that will allow us to predict and ultimately treat this disease, but we need your help to do it!
The different bio samples collected during a study visit give us the ability to conduct a wide variety of tests. With a focus on genomics, proteomics, glycomics, and metabolomics, we’ll explore new methods for predicting and identifying Alzheimer’s through less invasive procedures. By having participants return once every two years, we can better track how changes in health affect the potential for developing Alzheimer’s disease.
The Emory Healthy Brain Study is a sub-study of the Emory Healthy Aging Study. To join the Emory Healthy Brain Study, you must first join the Emory Healthy Aging Study.
Participating in the Emory Healthy Aging Study consists of filling out a brief Health History Questionnaire once a year.
After you've completed the Health History Questionnaire, a clinical research coordinator will review your information to determine eligibility for the Emory Healthy Brain Study.
If selected to participate in the Emory Healthy Brain Study, you will be asked to visit our clinic once every two years. During your visit, we'll conduct a variety of tests and collect bio samples.
Sign up for the Emory Healthy Aging Study and fill out the Health History Questionnaire to see if you qualify for the Emory Healthy Brain Study. Or, request more information about the study from one of our representatives.
Join the Emory Healthy Aging Study Request More InformationSelected participants will visit the Emory Brain Health Center once every two years to complete a series of tests, and to allow us to collect important biological samples. The visit typically takes approximately six to seven hours with lunch provided. Participation in this study is completely voluntary, and how long a participant chooses to continue with the study is up to them. As a selected participant, you will also be compensated for your time.
